EDITORIAL

        The pace of life has quickened as the summer ends and autumn comes knocking at the

 door to remind us all to prepare for winter.  From all of us at West Cork writers Group,

we hope all our readers in the Northern hemisphere had a pleasant summer.

The devastating floods in Pakistan are a reminder that we are all still at the mercy of

natural disasters beyond our control and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to everyone

 affected. It would be nice to hear from any of our readers in Pakistan via our guest book

of the individual efforts of ordinary people during this cruel time.

        The West Cork Arts Center (The Sutherland Center, North Street, Skibbereen)  have been

particularly helpful enabling us to continue our meeting there on a Friday night. The

room we meet in will be changed but the time and place remain the same.
