Tim Daly, who became chairman of the West Cork Writers Group in a comparatively bloodless coup in 2005, started out as a performance poet and then as a lyricist.  He was Lyrical Consultant on Pink Floyd's "Momentary Lapse of Reason" album, and has worked with such music business legends as Dave Stewart, Hugh Masekela, John Archdeacon and Henry Mancini. Tim approaches the task of editing for this group website as a light-hearted tyrant, and he combines an absent-minded ruthlessness with a love of feeding people that borders on the pathological.  He believes writing, like all other forms of art, should first and foremost be about having fun.
