Comment: I like the Challenge idea, must keep you all on your toes and it seems like fun too. Tim's Buffalo Girls piece was great and I look forward to seeing more of them.

Comment: West Cork is blessed with writers such as these. (actually all communities are blessed by their writers and artists, it is just that in Ireland they are recognized for what they give to the community)I look forward to seeing the West Cork Writers Group's 'Weekly Challenge' taken up by a wider community. The Dark Side of Anticipation should stimulate some worthy bits to ponder upon.A good tale, a well thought out poem transports us into different realms. My wish is that The WCWG does just that to a widening audience.Pax,Gwyllm

Editor's Reply: Sorry to be negative, Evelyn - but to date all of our approaches to the Irish Arts Council, the Minister for Arts and Cork Arts have failed to elicit any interest whatsoever in what we have been doing or in helping us continue to do it. Perhaps this says more about Ireland in 2008 than it does about us.

Comment: Um...not sure I wanted to leave this message here but just wanted say that I met Tim and Maggie in The Falcon pub in Arncliff in early May this year. Shared a great beer and some good conversation. One of those passing moments you don't forget.
Thank you for the the publication. Currently in the process of moving to Bath, so will savour the text when I have some quality time away from London.
Thanks again for the memory.

Comment: My Grandmother came from Cork, doesn't mean I'm Irish though, and I haven't got even a bit of the blarney about me, and if I did it'd be British blarnery anyway...so it goes.
