    1.?INTRODUCTION?

    applied?design?and?art.?This?unit?presents?knowledge?about?colour?theory?as?well?as
    research‐based?information?about?colour?and?associated?topics?that?can?be?used?in
    design.?Information?and?knowledge?about?colour?can?vary?in?quality?and?reliability,
    which?is?demonstrated.?Students?apply?their?skills?and?knowledge?about?colour

    This?unit?covers?the?processes?of?colour?vision?and?other?aspects?of?visual
    perception.?It?also?explores?colour?application?from?the?Pre‐history?period,?as?well
    as?selected?colour?theories?of?the?Renaissance?period?through?to?the?21st?century.
